Charles G. Cobb, MD

Dr. Cobb did his undergraduate studies at Tufts University, graduating with a BS degree in Chemistry, summa cum laude. He completed his medical studies at Vanderbilt University School of Medicine, and completed a urology residency at the University of Texas, Southwestern Medical Center (Dallas, TX). His primary practice is located at McIver’s Baptist Medical Center South location, where he served as Chairman of Surgery.

Paul M. Crum, MD
Co-Director, Jacksonville Prostate Center
Dr. Crum is a graduate of the United States Naval Academy. He attended medical school at the University of Pennsylvania and completed his residency in Urology at the Naval Hospital (Philadelphia, PA). He served as Chief of Urology at two Naval Hospitals (Portsmouth, VA. and Jacksonville, FL), and at St. Vincent’s Medical Center, Jacksonville, FL. He has also served as the Chief of the Department of Surgery, St. Vincent’s Hospital (Jacksonville, FL). Currently, he is on the Cancer Committee at St. Vincent’s. Dr. Crum is certified by the American Board of Urology and a diplomate of the American College of Surgery.

Alberto Duboy, MD
A native of Lakeland, Florida, Dr. Duboy attended Wake Forest University in Winston-Salem, NC for his undergraduate degree. He then came home to obtain his medical degree at the University of Florida and subsequently completed his Urologic training at the University of South Florida. Dr. Duboy has extensive training in the medical and surgical management of erectile dysfunction, Peyronie’s disease, low testosterone, and premature ejaculation. He is the founder and Co-director of the Men’s Health Center at the Mciver Clinic which is the only comprehensive Men’s Health Center in Northeast Florida. Dr. Duboy is also has an interest in General Urology which includes the treatment of urinary stone disease, voiding dysfunction, and malignancy effecting the genitourinary tract. He is board certified by the American Board of Urology and a member of the Sexual Medicine Society of North America.

C. Mark Homra, MD
Director, Sexual Medicine & Prosthetic Implant Program
A native of Kentucky, Dr. Homra obtained his undergraduate degree from Vanderbilt University, and graduated from the University of Louisville Medical School and completed his Urology residency. He has lived in Jacksonville since 1997 and was a previous chairman of surgery and president of the medical staff at St. Vincent’s Southside. He is board certified by the American Board of Urology. He has served as Chairman of Surgery, Chief of Urology and President of Medical Staff at St. Vincents Southside.
Dr. Homra is currently involved with Cell Surgical Network of Florida, specializing in stem cell treatments for Erectile Dysfunction.

Richard H. Lewis, MD

Dr. Lewis is a graduate of Guilford College and Duke University School of Medicine. He completed his residency at National Naval Medical Center in Bethesda. He is Board Certified by the American Board of Urology and is a Fellow of The American College of Surgeons. Dr. Lewis is currently the Chief of Urology at St. Vincents Hospital.

Mohammed Mona, MD
Dr. Mona is a graduate of the College of Medicine in Damascus. He did his residency at Methodist Hospital in Brooklyn, New York in the department of Surgery and his urology residency at University Hospital in Jacksonville, Florida. is Dr. Mona has served as Chief of Urology at Memorial Hospital and Methodist Hospital (Shands), as well as president of the medical staff at Methodist Hospital. Before joining McIver Clinic he was in private practice for over 25 years. Dr. Mona is Board Certified from the American Board of Urology and a diplomate of the American College of Surgery

Charles H. Pruden IV, MD
Co-Director, Jacksonville Prostate Center
Dr. Pruden graduated from Wake Forest University and Bowman Gray School of Medicine, where he was a member of the medical honor society. He continued his education at the University of Florida in Gainesville where he completed training in urology. He serves on the credentialing committee at St. Vincent’s Hospital.

Sagar R. Shah, MD
Director, McIver Women’s Center for Urogynecology and Pelvic Floor Health
Dr. Shah completed his undergraduate degree at the University of Florida and attended the University of Miami School of Medicine where he was elected to the Alpha Omega Alpha Society prior to graduation. He completed a residency in Urologic Surgery at the Medical College of Georgia followed by a two-year fellowship at New York University in Female Pelvic Medicine and Reconstructive Surgery and obtained dual-board accreditation by the American Board of Urology and American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology. To date, there are only seven similarly accredited fellowships for urologists in the country.

Douglas A. Swartz, MD

Dr. Swartz is a graduate of the University of Texas Medical School. His completed his residency at the University of Texas (Urologic Surgery Program at Hermann), St. Joseph’s, and MD Anderson hospitals (Houston, TX). He is board certified by the American Board of Urology. Dr. Swartz has taught for the University of Florida Department of Surgery (Jacksonville) from 1985 to 1997, and was chief of Urology from 1987 to 1997.
He has published 28 peer-reviewed articles and abstracts in urology, and is involved in many active research studies.
Areas of Expertise: Urologic oncology, reconstructive urology and infertility.

Apoorva R. Vashi, MD
Director, Robotic Prostate Program
Dr. Vashi completed his undergraduate, medical, and urology training at the University of Michigan. He joined McIver Clinic in 1998, and is currently Chief of Urology at Baptist Medical Center. Dr. Vashi has been a surgical proctor for Intuitive Surgical (makers of the da Vinci© Robot) since 2006. He has served as a consultant for The International Centre for Robotic Surgery (ICRS)- a project to bring robotic surgery to Southeast Asia. He also helped run the prostate program at MD Anderson Jacksonville.

Matthew Nielsen, MD
Dr. Nielsen is a graduate of Baylor University and the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio School of Medicine. He was elected to the Alpha Omega Alpha honor society as a junior medical student. He completed his urology residency at Eastern Virginia Medical School in Norfolk, Virginia, where he was honored with the Eunice Baxter Medical Staff Award for most outstanding resident. Dr. Nielsen’s interests include robotic surgery, reconstruction and general urology. When not helping patients, Dr. Nielsen enjoys the outdoors with his wife and spending time with his son.

Clint Collins, MD
Dr. Collins graduated from Mississippi State University with a BS in Biological Engineering, cum laude. He completed his medical studies at the University of Mississippi Medical Center School of Medicine and completed urology residency at Virginia Commonwealth University Health System/Medical College of Virginia in Richmond, VA. He completed a fellowship in Female Pelvic Medicine and Reconstructive Surgery at LSU Health System in New Orleans, LA. Prior to joining McIver Clinic, Dr. Collins was Associate Professor of Urology at the University of Mississippi Medical Center, where he trained urology residents and medical students and cared for patients for seven years. He is board certified by the American Board of Urology with subspecialty certification in Female Pelvic Medicine and Reconstructive Surgery.

C. Shawn West, MD

A native Floridian, Dr. West is a graduate of Florida State University. He attended University of Florida College of Medicine where he completed his urology residency. Following his urologic training, Dr. West joined McIver Clinic in 2008. He is a laparoscopic surgical proctor for PRI Medical and Covidien Medical. Dr West also serves as the President of First Coast Surgical Services- a partnership with Nextmed medical- which brings the highest quality stone treatment to NE Florida.

John Williams, MD
Dr Williams joined Mciver Clinic January 1, 2017. He has been in practice at the Beaches for 20 years. Previously he served as director at University of Florida Jacksonville. He serves as Chief of Urology at Baptist Beaches Hospital.
