Dr. Regele attended Indiana University, where he earned his undergraduate degree with a major in Chemistry and a minor in Business. He then attended Indiana University School of Medicine, where he graduated with honors as a member of the Alpha Omega Alpha (AOA) Honor Medical Society.

He completed his urologic surgery residency at Mayo Clinic in Jacksonville, Florida, where he received comprehensive training in minimally invasive and robotic surgery, endoscopic surgery, urologic oncology, kidney stone disease, Men’s health, and the treatment of benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH).

Dr. Regele has particular expertise in the surgical treatment of enlarged prostates and urinary retention using Holmium Laser Enucleation of the Prostate (HoLEP). HoLEP is a minimally invasive endoscopic procedure that can effectively treat even very large prostates and is particularly well suited for men with severe BPH or catheter-dependent urinary retention.
