The 18,000 square foot Riverside location is home to the Northeast Florida area's only videourodynamic suite, along with a complete pelvic floor and continence center. The Riverside office provides on-site diagnostic and therapeutic urology, advanced radiological services, including PET, CT, MRI and sonography. It is also the location of the McIver pathology lab, which through a unique partnership with Bostwick laboratories provides our patients with the highest level of urologic pathology expertise. The Riverside office also houses the brand new Siemens Artiste linear accelerator (one of only three in the country) providing on-site IMRT/IGRT for the treatment of prostate cancer.
The San Marco location provides diagnostic and therapeutic urology, while McIver's Mandarin office provides state-of-the-art diagnosis, treatment, and management of urologic disorders, complete with a continuum of care.
A multidisciplinary partnership, formed in 2008, with ICON (Integrated Community Oncology Network), which includes FROG (Florida Radiation Oncology Group) and FOA (Florida Oncology Associates), further strengthens McIver Clinic's position as the leader in urological cancer merging advanced surgical techniques such as laparoscopic and robotic kidney, prostate and bladder surgery with radiation and chemotherapy as needed.
McIver physicians are board certified by the American Board of Urology and many have fellowships. Each has been specifically recruited for their highly specialized training, expertise and experience in order to treat all aspects of men and women's health, including specific prostate and continence issues, as well as cancers. To ensure a continued legacy of staff, the ages of McIver physicians are varied, thus building a solid foundation of both experience and new knowledge. McIver's long heritage and respected reputation of current and leading edge treatment ensures referring physicians that they can trust that their patients will be cared for in the best possible way.
In addition, McIver Clinic has two specialty centers – The Jacksonville Prostate Center, dedicated to the management of benign (BPH) and malignant prostate disease, and the Jacksonville Continence Center, providing comprehensive management of both male and female voiding issues and female urogynecology services.
McIver physicians practice at St. Vincent's HealthCare (St. Vincent's and St. Luke's) and Baptist Health (Downtown and Baptist South), and several currently serve as chief of their specialty group at each of these hospitals.
